Faye Freelance: Rebel Reporter is a brand new NEWSVANIA coming out in the year 202X. Set in the year 27XX, play as Faye Freelance—rebel reporter—in her journey to expose and overthrow the genocidal PRESIDENT CAPTAIN EVIL. Features stylized pixel-art aesthetic and hand-crafted animation.

Story

In the year 27XX, the newly elected PRESIDENT CAPTAIN EVIL has declared all NEWS to be illegal. The ensuing massacre leaves millions of Americans dead—killed for possessing, producing, reading, or taking any part in the NEWS. In this dark time for the country, a few surviving journalists seek to undermine the president's tyrannical rule. Faye Freelance, rebel reporter, arrives in AMERICA, having successfully avoided death at the hands of all the president's men. Magic pen in hand, she's ready to face the president and take him down.

About the Development

This game is solo-developed by JH, with music by Jared Emerson Johnson & mixing/SFX help by Julian Kwasneski at Bay Area Sound. It is in active development; if you'd like to support it, feel free to wishlist this game!
