About the Game

You’re on the bridge, calling the shots!

Fates of Command puts you in charge of the UCS Ormager, flagship of the Free Worlds Assembly, on a daring mission of exploration, diplomacy and combat.

Caught in a losing battle with the Axar Empire and aiming to benefit from a rare wormhole synchronization, the Assembly sends the Ormager to a very distant area of the galaxy, to gather new technologies and alliances.

As the captain, you control your ship through giving orders from the captain’s chair. Whether for combat or exploration, your ship and crew offer a wide array of courses of action for any situation:

  • Varied weaponry & shielding systems

  • Ship & combat navigation

  • Science & scanning

  • Experimental tech deployment

  • Energy management/redirection

  • Crew assignment

For your journey, Fates of Command builds on proven space roguelike mechanics of travel, upgrades & encounters, and adds more freedom of exploration.

Discover new and alien technology, then upgrade your ship with experimental contraptions... if you dare.

Still under some time pressure, you're not running away from an enemy fleet; you get to choose where to go. You’ll encounter unexplained phenomena and make first contact with unknown civilizations. How you respond to it all is up to you, and will answer the question:

When you return home, what will be your legacy?
