About the Game

Once upon a time... Wait, this isn't a fairy tale.

One day in Japan, Rina dies in a ridiculous way. As if that wasn't bad enough, she wakes up in Purgatory (USA). Not Yomi, the Japanese underworld.

The angels tell her she's got a shot at getting back to the land of the living.

"Get to the River Lethe," they say.

Problem is, Purgatory is basically a vast wilderness. You know, it's crawling with the Seven Deadly Sins, monsters, and God-knows-what else.

Rina keeps moving for one very human reason:

she's got a date.

But… is the River Lethe really the best idea?

Features

Inspired by Dante's Divine Comedy, Farewell To Sunshower is a horror-fantasy RPG set in Purgatory. As Rina pushes deeper into this crooked afterlife, she must fight, survive, and grow stronger.

• Rina can find useful items to survive in this mysterious, crooked realm.

• Rina may encounter horrifying and dangerous creatures as she explores.

• And the Seven Deadly Sins may drop something unique and cool when they die.

• Angels going through the motions. Of course, there are still passionate newcomers who do their best to manage the afterlife.

• Or, if she is lucky, she may meet other wandering souls on the road, pilgrims like herself. But trying to kill them first before they try to kill her, is probably not a good idea.

• Don't mess up Purgatory too much.

• Death Penalty: Rina's level resets to 1, and she loses all her Sinful Echoes. But her hard-won items and overall progress remain.

• Featuring FANTASTIC tracks by PGN Music.

• A new horror-magic experience from the designer of Frozen Friday Night: The Eve.

• Visuals and gameplay with unique artwork, reminiscent of those Newgrounds games. (Old school!)

Then, have a happy, safe afterlife!
