Famine Way is a 2D adventure game in the author's style about Ukraine in 1932-1933 for personal computers and mobile devices.
The basis of the gameplay is the survival of the protagonists and overcoming their path: escaping from their native village in search of loved ones. You will be able to go on a rich journey with a deep narrative and an authentic audiovisual approach. The game lacks traditional elements of communication, such as dialogues, descriptions and fights - therefore the exploration of the game world through the objects of the environment and music comes to the fore.
In this emotional adventure, we will meet the young heroine Olena, who was left alone during the Holodomor. The starting point of the story is the moment when she finds a wounded stork and embarks on a dangerous journey. Who Olena will become and what awaits her and her companion at the end is unknown. Immerse yourself in the narrative and explore a Ukrainian village and its surroundings during the Holodomor through the eyes of a little girl and a stork.
