False Hope

One winter. Four survivors, and a wounded stranger who won't last the night without you. To the east lies a missile, the one chance left to end the war for good, if you can hold the camp together long enough to reach it. Every choice may costs someone.

About This Game

False Hope is a survival visual novel set across a single winter in a country that has stopped pretending things will get better. Somewhere to the east, a pre-war silo still holds a working missile: the group's one real chance to strike back and end the war for good

You play as Luka, keeping a camp of four alive through the cold — until a wounded stranger walks in at dawn, claiming he knows the way to the bunker. He might be the group's salvation. He might be lying about all of it. Out here, trust is the most expensive thing you own.

Run the camp, or watch it starve.

Each day runs from dawn to dark. Use the Dispatch Map to send your platoons out to scavenged ground, an evacuated village, a military depot up north. You need food and fuel. Every run burns fuel and carries a risk: push too hard and your people come back wounded, leaving you short-handed the next day. Fail to stock enough to last the week, and the group won't see the next one.

Where you send them decides what you learn.

Some locations hold more than supplies, they hold the truth about the man at your fire. But every platoon spent chasing answers is one you didn't spend on food. Survive, or understand. You rarely get to do both.

Every choice leaves a mark.

There are no clean options, and nothing resets. Trust the wrong person and people die. The story remembers what you decide and carries it forward — toward more than one ending.

  • A dark survival visual novel set across one unforgiving winter

  • Manage a camp through the Dispatch Map, send platoons for food and fuel, weighing risk against reward

  • A living investigation where where you scavenge shapes what you uncover, and you can't chase it all

  • Branching, persistent choices that lead to multiple endings

  • A small, sharply drawn cast and writing that trusts you to feel the weight of your decisions

  • Original soundtrack and restrained, atmospheric storytelling
