Eye of Darkness

is a survivor rogue-lite game with a focus on exploration in which you take on the role of a cultist trying to summon the Eye of Darkness.

The forces of Light and Darkness have been locked in an eternal struggle for ultimate power. For eons, the Light has suppressed the Darkness, imprisoning the Eye of Darkness to maintain its dominance. Under the Light’s rule, humanity lives under strict laws and rigid hierarchies, to suppress heresy.

But now, a cult devoted to the Darkness sees an opportunity…

Challenge

The darkness sends forth a cultist to collect the ancient artifacts needed to awaken the Eye of Darkness. At first, only three artifacts are required, but with each successful run, the Eye of Darkness demands more. However, the time limit of 15 minutes remains unchanged—how many artifacts can you collect while battling the relentless forces of Light?

Explore

Venture into an atmospheric world that is newly generated with every run.
Discover unique locations, NPC's, and treasure spots.

Tactical combat

Find five different NPCs, each granting you their unique spells. Combine their powers tactically and upgrade them using the souls of your enemies to achieve your ultimate goal.

Rogue lite

Each run is limited to a maximum of 15 minutes. If you manage to collect all required artifacts, you are rewarded with a special upgrade. Even if you fail, the books you’ve found can be used in the Arcanum to permanently enhance your stats.
