GAMEPLAY

eXSert is a Dieselpunk 3D Beat’em Up Action-Adventure game developed in Unity. The story follows Vera, a fiery and impulsive fighter who infiltrates a colossal airborne ship to destroy a genocidal AI known as the “Cleanser”

NARRATIVE SETTING

In a city, buried in filth by its human residents, a cleaning robot gains sentience through tampering. This robot develops a hatred for the city’s putrid state and those who made it that way. The bot came up with a plan to return the world to nature, dubbing itself the “Cleanser” Using the discarded scraps piled throughout the city, the little cleaning bot built on to itself and began building other bots. It stashed its own bots around the city, hiding them in the squalid alleyways and in a hodgepodge ship made of several chunks of old aircrafts. With all in place, the Cleansing began. Humans were exterminated throughout the city in an event known as “The Cleansing.” 

Those who survived retreated underground to save themselves. One determined girl Vera spends years underground, swapping between rebel groups and altering her old mining gauntlets to use against the robot uprising. She has a lot riding on this victory, not just for humanity, but for herself too.

Prepare to save humanity from the “Cleansing”. Help Vera, now an independent rebel, as she infiltrates the Cleanser’s ship. Fight your way through waves of enemies, find keycards to unlock more of the ship, and solve puzzles! Humanity is in your gauntlets.
