About the Game

📖 Story

You play as Lupus, an unemployed man who became wealthy after investing in cryptocurrency back in 2011. Spending the rest of his life immersed in games and pornography, he is suddenly summoned by an otherworldly entity from another dimension with a mission. However, Lupus is not immediately granted permission to carry out this sacred task.

To prove himself worthy, Lupus must defeat all the demons threatening to destroy the sacred temples scattered across various limbo realms between dimensions. Though tasked as a temple guardian, in every run Lupus often takes on the role of an executioner.

He has no choice, sooner or later, he will be sent to the limbo realms, and if he refuses to fight the demons inhabiting these places, he will be killed by demons on the spot.

What exactly is the entity’s motive? Why choose Lupus, someone so clearly unfit for any kind of responsibility?

🛡️ Character Progression

No traditional XP. No inventory management.
Lupus grows stronger through a unique risk-reward system where his damage output scales inversely with his remaining health — the lower his HP, the deadlier his attacks become. In addition, mastering precise timing by successfully parrying enemy attacks multiple times further boosts his combat effectiveness, rewarding skilled and daring players who can dance on the edge of death.

Key progression mechanics:

  • Damage increases as Lupus' HP decreases, the lower the health, the higher the damage output.

  • Successful parries against enemy attacks boost Lupus' damage further.

  • Encourages high-risk, high-reward gameplay focused on skillful timing and survival.

  • Progression rewards players who can master parrying and manage low health strategically.
