You’ve been accused of unthinkable crimes — including destroying five entire star systems. But there’s a catch: your memory has been wiped.
The Ethics Board is split. If you can’t remember your crimes, are you still guilty?
Their solution? A test. Prove you’re not innately evil, and you’ll go free. Fail... and it’s curtains. Or lasers. Lethal ones.
Guiding you through your psychological trials is the Director — a theatrical figure with a flair for manipulation, moral puzzles, and "therapy" sessions designed by people who definitely shouldn't have a license.
But what if the only way to survive… is to break free from the script entirely?
