About the Game

Escape from Area 51 is a story-driven sci-fi detective puzzle game with elements of stealth and shapeshifting.

You find yourself inside a secret military base at the moment chaos begins to unfold. Your only chance to escape is to explore Area 51, read the minds of its personnel, change identities, and gradually unravel a conspiracy connected to your father’s disappearance.

The game focuses not on action, but on observation, analysis, choice, and atmospheric storytelling, where every decision can open a new path-or lead you into danger.

🧠 Read minds of the personnel and use the information to progress

🎭 Change identities, gaining access to new areas and dialogues

🔍 Investigate what is happening on the base by collecting fragments of the truth

🗣 Engage in dialogues that depend on who you currently are

🚪 Search for alternative routes: ventilation shafts, service corridors, laboratories

🧩 Solve puzzles directly woven into the narrative

The game features multiple forms, and each comes with its own abilities and limitations:

  • Alien
    - can read minds
    - is perceived as a threat
    - can be detected instantly

  • Child
    - can crawl through tight spaces and ventilation shafts
    - unnoticed in some areas, but extremely vulnerable in others

  • Base Personnel
    - access to restricted areas
    - unique dialogues and NPC reactions
    - different social opportunities

❗ People react to you differently depending on your form.
What a scientist will say to another scientist will never be said to a soldier.

Antagonists
Base personnel and government agents become a threat the moment your identity is exposed.
These are forces that must never see you as either a child… or an alien.

EVA — Electronic Voice Assistant
You are accompanied by EVA, an electronic voice assistant who:

  • provides contextual hints

  • helps you navigate the base

  • highlights possible paths

But… she doesn’t know everything.
Or perhaps she simply doesn’t tell you everything.
