About the Game

Washed ashore with nothing but memories of your death, you find yourself on a journey to explore the oppressive Purgatorial Realms and escape the Afterlife.

Recruit enemies you encounter and bind them to your will. Equip them with weapons you find to discover what composition works best. Carefully craft your party with Hollows you have bent to your will and use their unique abilities to defeat not only similar foes, but others with the same abilities of command.

Face difficult choices in who you wish to take upon your journey and who you wish to damn to the corruption of the lands. Witness the horrific transformations of their greatest desires and wishes, and strike them down with a unique turn-based weapon system.

Taking inspiration from monster collector challenge runs and blending it with dark fantasy elements, End the Endless offers an oppressive, challenging environment where players must discover what happens when death is no longer the greatest fear.

  • Choose between 3 different souls to begin your journey and recruit a variety of others from the Purgatorial Realms.

  • Make careful decisions between who you take on your journey and who you must slay to carry onward.

  • Each Hollow has their own unique abilities and play style, along with body-horror-themed upgrades.

  • Randomized encounters ensure that you never have the same Hollows at your disposal for the horrors ahead.

  • Hand-pixeled artwork with a dark atmosphere set in an isometric environment.

Content Warning:

Elements of self-harm are present immediately from the onset of this game. References to hangings, self-mutilation, and executions are common, and in some cases, a core part of the lore.

The Purgatorial Realms feature adjacency to the works of religious scholars but do not refer to any religious elements from existing faiths directly.
