ENCRYPTID.

Encryptid is a short FMV horror game inspired by iconic monster tamer titles from the mid 90s/00s featuring photography and real-world full-motion video recorded via the Gameboy Camera. Use this footage and all resources available to you to identify, locate, hunt and catch cryptids across a variety of locations to discover what truly happened to your predecessor - and attempt to satiate your own cryptozoological obsession.

The game is an authentic throwback to an era of creature collecting games known for their simple yet evocative visuals, audio and many urban legends. It's designed to be played on both modern systems and the original Gameboy or any device capable of playing or emulating Gameboy titles.
