《表情猜猜猜》 is a visual Chinese word-guessing game. Pay close attention to quantities, positions, colors, and written clues to uncover the answer hidden in each picture.

The answer could be an idiom, a person’s name, a type of food, an everyday expression, or an internet catchphrase.

Follow the Feedback

When you see a crab and an ¥8 price tag, your first guess might be “螃蟹八块” — “crab, eight, pieces.”

After submitting an answer, you will receive feedback for each Chinese character. Correct characters and similar pronunciations will give you clues for your next attempt.

Sometimes the answer comes from your first impression. Other times, you may need to look at the picture from a different angle.

One Whiteboard, Many Ways to Solve

Some answers are hidden in quantities, while others depend on position.

A missing number, a ring of matching symbols, or a strangely curved book could all be part of the answer.

In addition to idioms, the game includes everyday expressions, people, food, brand names, internet catchphrases, and many other categories.

The demo contains around 150 hand-picked puzzles. Take your time solving them alone, or share the pictures with friends and work out the answers together.
