About the Game

The Star must grow!

Ember Folks is an incremental game about building a city and reigniting a dying star. Start by gathering resources yourself, then summon Embers — loyal workers who automate production and help your city grow. Expand, automate, and bring the star back to life.

Variety of Buildings

Every building adds something new. Shrine of Clicks makes manual interaction effective even in the late game, while warehouses let you squeeze more from resource production when managed correctly. More buildings and mechanics will be added as development continues.

City and Economy

Build and upgrade structures, improve worker efficiency, and expand your production. Grow your economy, unlock new technologies, and watch your city thrive. Every choice shapes your progress — decide what to build, upgrade, and prioritize next.

Reignite the Star!

The Star is slowly cooling, and this cold land only makes things worse. Fight back against that decline in any way you can — spawn thermal sparks, fire ballista shots into it, hurl rocks and generate beams of heat to keep it alive.

Deep Prestige System

As you push the star’s temperature higher, you’ll earn prestige points. These can be spent on powerful upgrades and new buildings that don’t just boost numbers, but also unlock new systems and mechanics.

A Note from the Developer

Ember Folks is being created by a solo developer running on far too much coffee and late-night sessions after work. It’s a small passion project, and I’m truly excited to see how it grows over time.

If you enjoy it - add to wishlist and share your feedback and ideas via the in-game Google Form or a Steam review. It will help shape Ember Folks and guide its development all the way to release.

Every bit of feedback really means a lot for me
