They wish to summon an Egregore,
to shape reality as they see fit.
Egregore is a first-person adventure where you uncover an occult conspiracy in modern Cairo. Using a unique graphing mechanic, you’re empowered to connect the dots and discover a web of intrigue and possibility. Egregore questions what constitutes “truth”, immersing you in a deep and uncertain world.
What would you do to uncover the truth?

- Reshape reality by drawing connections with a mystic astrolabe.
Summon people, objects, and rooms as you explore the world around you. Create your own truth with the knowledge at your disposal, forming new realities, spaces, and associations. - Question dynamic characters to uncover the truth.
Follow your own path through the story using the information you've uncovered. The residents of Café Ramses are more than they seem, with histories and motives all their own. Connect them to concepts, people, and objects around Ramses to discover their connections, personalities, and anxieties. - Traverse a vibrant cafe in modern-day Cairo.
Explore an authentic, radiant portrayal of modern Egypt. Make your way to Café Ramses, a respected traditional coffee house that prides itself on its culture.

Egregore is an AGP/MFA thesis project developed in collaboration between USC Games, Berklee College of Music, and Otis College of Art and Design. Inspirations include NORCO, Riven, and The Case of the Golden Idol.
