About the Game

Edge of Infinity is a third person space shooter with an emphasis on vehicle combat and immersive sim elements. Each environment is a living sandbox that influences gameplay in real time. This game is inspired by those of the early 2000s, designed to be a modern spiritual successor to Battlefront 2, with nods to Halo and Red Faction Guerilla.

At the heart of this game are the hulking environments that become your playground. Each room is crafted to provide a unique experience that alters the gameplay. For example, destroying the shield generator allows starfighters to more easily damage capital ships. Deactivating the electricity of a ship deck disables all lighting and doors. Damaging communications systems will affect enemy scoreboards and radars. Guess what happens with the gravity generators?

Players are part of a squad, with mechanics similar to Enlisted and Republic Commando. You can command your squad to perform certain actions and target objectives. If you die while boarding a ship, you can take control of an NPC squad member to continue the action.
