A solitary traveller has stumbled upon this deserted village, and what started as a simple quest for shelter turns into a horrific saga of death, torture and demonic possession.

WHAT’S INSIDE THIS RELEASE

Originally released in 1994, Ecstatica is a cult survival-horror adventure by British developer Andrew Spencer Studios, published by Psygnosis. An early pioneer of the genre, it is famous for its one-of-a-kind "ellipsoid" graphics. This is the first time the game is available digitally.

The re-released version not only ensures that the game runs smoothly on modern systems, but also adds a number of improvements, including full controller support and the ability to switch between three graphics modes, from Classic DOS to Software mode with modern resolutions.
