About the Game

Echoe of Memory: AI Profiler is a near-future mystery detective adventure in which you reinvestigate cold cases from the past together with your AI partner, ECHO.

You play as Makoto Kuroiwa, an investigator assigned to the Cold Case Investigation Support Office. By examining crime scene photos, surveillance footage, public social media posts, police databases, and records related to the people involved, you search for the contradictions left behind in each case.

AI is not there to simply give you the answer. Using the analysis candidates presented by ECHO as clues, it is up to you to decide what should be treated as evidence and which information should be questioned.

The first case is “The Ichijo Family Heiress Kidnapping Case,” in which the daughter of a prestigious family vanished from a study. A ransacked room. Muddy footprints. A suspicious figure captured on surveillance footage. Every record seems to point to a kidnapping. But the more you reconnect the evidence, the more small discrepancies begin to emerge in the official explanation.

Organize suspects, related parties, and evidence through a relationship chart. Investigate suspicious areas in crime scene images. Select key information from social media and database records. Finally, submit your final report based on “WHO / WHEN / WHERE / WHAT / HOW / WHY.”

This is a story about uncovering the “echoes of memory” buried within old case files.
The truth lies within the records. But to reach it, you will need your own deduction.
