In daily life, we all know it makes sense to wash our mugs while waiting for the kettle to boil. Eatime takes this classic operations research concept and drops it right into the chaotic heart of a commercial kitchen. Faced with a relentless stream of orders, you must plan every passing second like a precision instrument to push kitchen efficiency to its absolute limit!

⏳ Core Gameplay: Maximizing Every Second

You will need to map out the exact cooking sequence for every dish on a complex timeline. Every cooking step falls into one of two categories:

  • Active Tasks (Requires Focus): Tasks like chopping vegetables, stir-frying, and plating. Your chef is fully occupied here and cannot perform any other active tasks simultaneously.

  • Passive Tasks (Automated): Tasks like baking in the oven, slow-cooking broth, or running the rice cooker. Once started, you can walk away and let the machines do the work.

Your Ultimate Goal: Masterfully interleave your "Active Tasks" during the downtime of your "Passive Tasks." Eliminate all unnecessary waiting, find the perfect critical path, and finish all the required dishes in the shortest possible time to achieve a perfect 3-star rating!
