About the Game

Dystopian Debugger is a puzzle game about debugging murderous robots!

Playtest information:

THE PLAYTEST IS NOW CLOSED. PROCESSING GATHERED DATA.

It is the year 5X after the Wipe.

When a corporate baking robot goes haywire and turns half a dozen workers into grotesque pies;
When a bartender bot cleans glasses with whiskey and serves chemicals to clients;
When a garbage burner bot can't distinguish between trash and humans;

Who do all these corporations, multimillionaire perverts, undercover hackers and sexbot smugglers turn to?
They turn to you.

Play as Tilda, a genius engineer in hiding who can reform even the fiercest robots!
Reprogram, fix and debug murderous machines to a) make them do their job and b) not kill any humans in the meantime!

Features:

Several fully functional esoteric programming languages:
  • Robo. - a C-like programming language
  • TURTLE - a simple programming language that lets you control an ASCII turtle

In the works:

  • Neurolang - an interface to fix some of the AI by finding out the malfunctioning traits in a dialog and then swapping the faulty parts manually
  • And more...

Use these to rewrite programs for existing robots in order to stop them from killing people - and don't forget, the schedule is tight and the expenses high, so don't waste any time!
