About the Game

Dummy Guyz: Multiplayer Physics Sandbox Game

Welcome to "Dummy Guyz" a quaint little multiplayer sandbox game with graphics so rudimentary they'd make a potato blush. It's a place where your grand ideas meet the unpredictable world of physics, all while trying not to fall flat on its face.

The real magic happens when you team up. It's multiplayer mayhem at its finest—imagine a group of friends, each with the art skills of a distracted kindergartener, attempting to build the Eiffel Tower with nothing but spaghetti. Yep, it's that kind of party.

Where you're not just a player; you're a pioneer. Here, your brilliant (or brilliantly bizarre) ideas fuel the game’s evolution. Discuss, debate, and help steer the ship through the wild waters of game development. And soon, with mods, you'll get to tweak, twist, and transform the game into something uniquely yours. Your imagination is the limit, and our Discord is the launchpad.

What’s This All About?

"Dummy Guyz" is our love letter to the chaos of creativity. Inspired by the spirit of Garry's Mod, we thought, why not create a sandbox where everything doesn’t always go as planned?

From building wobbly vehicles that defy gravity (for better or worse) to crafting forts that are more about character than structural integrity, we're all about the fun in the journey, not just the destination.

Early Days, Humble Ways

Fair warning: we're in the super early stages here. If "Dummy Guyz" were a cake, we'd still be figuring out the difference between baking powder and baking soda. But that’s where the adventure begins, right? We’ve got the basics down: blocks, vehicle parts, and a physics engine that sometimes gets overly excited. As we grow, expect everything from minor improvements to major overhauls, all in the pursuit of crafting a sandbox game that’s as enjoyable to play as it is unpredictable.

Here's a full list of features in the Early Access version:

  • Local LAN or online multiplayer with very limited relay servers (only two nodes!) support
  • A minimal bean-like character which you can only switch color for customization
  • Relatively rich set of tools you can select and equip to your quickbar, including guns, swords, tools that manipulating other stuff, block building tools, car building tools and some very hacky tools that can change properties of other stuff.
  • Some interactable objects that will respond to player interaction in different ways, such as moving, rotating, flying or simply let you take the drive seat.
  • A few dull models that you can put together with other stuff to create your own toy.
  • A collection of Nextbots with popular memes from the internet.
  • A experimental feature that let you save your combination and level setups into XML file which you can load into the game anytime later.

It's pretty limited feature wise but we don't add any restriction to how you can combine different objects and tools. Some of the tool effects even work on other players. So it's recommended to invite friends to play together and get either creative or stupid fun.

What to Look Forward to

The future's bright (we hope) with plans to introduce more building blocks, mechanical parts, better physics shenanigans, and features that YOU suggest. We're committed to making "Dummy Guyz" a space where creativity, chaos, and community come together in a delightful mess.
