About the Game

Duck Defender is a 2D wave defender I[Regen Lytle] created as part of my coding class for school. This is the first game I have ever made. In Duck Defender you play as a Duckling with generational beef with some mutated insects and plants. Using the cursor to aim you must kill enemies as they spawn in from either side of the screen. Defeating enemies rewards experience which allows you to level up and choose from 1 of 3 presented upgrades in order to become stronger and coins. Coins can be spent in the shop once your run ends in order to purchase card packs. Card packs grant you new upgrades that can appear when you level up in future runs and come in 3 rarities: common, rare and legendary. Pulling duplicate cards from card packs gives you the option to upgrade that card in the card index, permanently increasing the base power of that upgrade. That is the core gameplay loop, defeat enemies, collect coins, buy card packs to become stronger. How many waves will you be able to survive?
