About the Game

Heroes Get the Glory, While You Get the Scraps.

Throughout all the lands of Dovengarde, knights adorned in armor are given parades, great wizards have statues erected in their image, and rogues have their coffers overflowing with coin. These brave adventurers get the fame, they get the glory, and they get the high-paying quests.

But you are not one of them.

You are a Delver - a commoner forced into the deadliest profession imaginable. You're the one they send deep into those dark, forgotten places. Playing from a first-person perspective, you will explore treacherous, procedurally generated dungeons to complete your objectives. You'll need to find out why the crypt is haunted or where that strange magic is coming from. You do all the dirty work, you gather the intelligence, and if you survive, you get paid just enough to keep those debt collectors at bay. But a Delver's work, a Delver's Research, is the only thing keeping the darkness from swallowing all of Dovengarde whole.

But be warned - death is permanent. When you fall to the horrors in the dark, your journey ends. You will lose your gear, your progress, and your life. You will return to town with nothing, ready to take on a new quest and try it all over again. How far will you make it as a Delver?

Main Features:

  • Online Co-Op: Don't face the darkness alone! Bring up to 3 friends to join you on your delve. That's 3 chances that they will be eaten instead!

  • Suspenseful First-Person Exploration: Navigate claustrophobic, procedurally generated dungeons where every dark corner could hide fortune or doom.

  • Objective-Based Missions: Your goal isn't to be a hero or fill your pockets. It's about Research! Complete perilous objectives like retrieving cursed artifacts, reactivating wards, or gathering intel on horrifying creatures. Each completed objective during a quest will be added to your total Research. If you meet the Research goals, you will live to Delve another day. But if you fail, your time as a Delver comes to an end.

  • Proximity-Based Voice Chat: Keep close to your friends to communicate, because sound doesn't travel far in the oppressive dark.

Bring Friends. The Dungeons are Lonely.

Glory is for the heroes, but as they say, misery loves company. Assemble your crew of up to six fellow Delvers and plunge into the procedurally generated depths together in online co-op. Survival depends on teamwork! Watch each other's backs, share a torch when the light grows dim, and coordinate your efforts to complete perilous objectives against a ticking clock. The pay may be low, but splitting the loot is better than getting eaten by a goblin alone.

Grab Your Gear. Get Paid. Survive.

Delve, Survive, Get Paid, and Upgrade. Every cursed artifact and piece of scrap you haul back to the surface has a price. Spend your hard-earned coin back in the town hub to prepare for the next, more dangerous delve.

Better Tools: Buy brighter, longer-lasting torches to push back the oppressive dark, or sturdier bags to carry more treasure out of the depths.

Safer Camp: Your procedurally placed camp is your only sanctuary in the field. Use your funds to upgrade it with better tents, storage solutions for turned-in loot, and maybe even some shoddy fortifications to feel a little safer at night. Every upgrade might just improve your odds on your next delve...
