Don Memo is an old bull who lives with his wife and granddaughter, Milagro. He descends from a proud lineage of brave bulls marked by the legend of Malacrianza, the mythical bull who was the first to face the demon Pisuicas and managed to banish him to hell. Since then, Malacrianza’s descendants have inherited the responsibility of fighting Pisuicas, who returns whenever negativity in the world rises.
Don Memo also fought his battle in the past, successfully banishing Pisuicas. However, the demon quickly returned due to the growing hatred and despair in humanity. Years later, Don Memo’s son carried on the legacy and, alongside his wife, gave his life to banish Pisuicas once again. Since that tragedy, Don Memo has cared for his granddaughter Milagro.
Now, in the present, Pisuicas has returned sooner than expected—and this time, he has kidnapped Milagro. Burdened by the pain of his past and the weight of the years on his back, Don Memo sets out on one final journey across Costa Rica. He must face not only ancient legends and dangers, but also the weight of his legacy and the fear of failing once more.
