About the Game

The Tale of THE DARK

Follow Addie, a teenage girl who get dragged down into an alternate realm, THE DARK, by it's exiled prince, Dexter. The two of them must traverse the land, running into different interesting people, to reach the capital and take back the crown. 

What to expect in this tale?

  • A battle system largely inspired by the system common in RPG Maker titles, as well as older RPGs from the 90's

  • Reaction based attacks that you must dodge or deflect, like a playful pounce or a FREAKING CANNONBALL!!!

  • A fairly linear adventure, focused on dialouge and puzzle solving.

  • Interesting characters like a drunk cat.

  • Did I mention the dogs.

  • The whole game made by (mostly) one creature.
