7 itemsAbout the Game
A surreal, menu driven, pseudo-immersive sim without rhyme or reason.
Thoroughly pointless, obtuse and purposely unfriendly. Dog's World will not hold your hand, pat your head or pinch your cheeks. Dog's World is indifferent and uncaring.
Set in the small town of South Hope, our aging protagonist Dog is unemployed, listless and destitute. Perhaps you'll provide the positive direction he needs in his life? Perhaps not.
Dog's World is an exercise in frustration - What's the point? What am I supposed to be doing? There are ways to "win" the game - Things to do, obstacles in the way, endings to find - But you're not going to get a quest marker or a reminder of what you're supposed to be doing. There isn't any auto-pilot, map or checklists. You're just going to have to figure it out.
