About the Game

Choose one of five gods of Olympus and take a mortal civilization from its first campfire to the gates of divinity. Your believers work, build and fight. You answer with miracles.

Divine Ascendancy is part god-game, part civilization builder: a settlement you shape from above, a faith economy that grows with it, and a summit you only reach if the people below you survive what's coming.

Convert peasants into followers, put them to work, and let the settlement grow around them. Six villager work roles, trader caravans, renewable resources, breeding, and roads that emerge where your people actually walk rather than where you drew them.

Twenty-one building types across fourteen visual tiers, each one growing grander as your faith deepens — the same granary, four ages later, is a different building.

Four ages to climb: Neolithic, Chalcolithic, Bronze, Early Iron. Each one unlocks deeper buildings, better units and harder problems, and advancing costs you the followers and faith you'd rather spend elsewhere.

Thirty-four miracles sit under your hand across creation, protection and destruction — bless a harvest, smite a raider, raise a defense, bend the ground itself. A perk and research tree lets you specialise your god into the kind of deity your civilization actually needs.

Doubt-born enemies march on your faithful along the Road of Doubt, and they escalate: heretics, then the undead, then worse. You can meet them with walls, with soldiers, with lightning from a clear sky, or with all three — and every defense you commit to is capacity you took away from building.

Calamities arrive on their own schedule. Plague, wildfire, earthquake. A settlement that only ever grew has nothing left over when one lands.

THE SUMMIT

At the top of belief there is a dragon — the Heresiarch — guarding the last thing between you and godhood. Raise the Ascension Spire, kill what's coiled around it, and complete the Ascension Ritual to take your seat among the gods.
