About the Game

The special tactics JRPG that lets You talk directly to the Hero.

Marshal your wits and fight your way through turn-based battles and awkward conversations alike. Choose your words and actions with care. Or don't. See what happens...

At the onset, you (yes, you 🫵) will be connected to a hero with his own plans, hopes, and fears, in a world that has raised him for this role. Soon after, more allies join him. Question them, advise them, and guide them on their way. Your treatment of them will shape how events unfold.

An unorthodox tactical battle system

  • Turns are split into 6 substeps, actions have varying substep durations and areas of effect. Slower actions might hit harder, while faster actions can be easier to land.

  • Both Player and Enemy units queue multiple actions ahead of time, then execute them concurrently.

  • Time your actions and movements carefully to hit your opponents before they hit you.

  • Inspired by fighting game concepts such as footsies, frame data, and attack interruption.

Fight challenging battles with multiple units

Other Features

  • A varied soundtrack (with genre inspirations including jazz fusion, electronic, and folk music) which reacts dynamically to gameplay.

  • A narrative with layers.

  • Built on top of a custom 2D game engine.
