About the Game

Dignaut is a minimalist sci-fi mining simulator about exploring a mysterious alien planet with a buried ancient civilization.

In the remote future, you are sent as a dignaut. Your mission begins with basic excavation: carve through layers of terrain, watch voxel structures break apart, gather resources, and upgrade your equipment. But every improvement you make changes how you dig — from material efficiency to cutting angles, from battery usage to tool interactions.

As you excavate, it becomes clear that something underground was made by someone. Explore the ruins of a dwarf-like alien civilization. Navigate chambers with impossible architecture. The more you reveal, the less you understand.

Progression isn't about simply going deeper. It's about digging better: burning through harder materials, optimizing routes, managing energy, and unlocking equipment that reshapes your entire excavation strategy.
