About the Game

Take charge as the President of a newly-independent country, Adelphia. As Aiden Fitzgerald, you will take on this daunting role and lead Adelphia forward through tumultuous times by prioritizing the right action at each step. Build infrastructure, approve policies, handle unforeseen events, keep your ministers happy by fulfilling their demands and much more.

But remember, money is limited and time even less so.

Will you be able to keep everyone (the public, your ministers, other country leaders', etc.) happy and get re-elected or will you fade into obscurity after your first term ? Your fate lies in your hands

Your role in Adelphia's freedom struggle is etched in the history books and has carried you to a unanimous term as the first President of Adelphia. However, patience wears thin, favors are seldom remembered and people would not hesitate to replace you if you fell short of their lofty expectations, viz.

  • General Public : The general public in each province would expect you to provide a decent standard of living across all metrics (employment, security, etc.). Failure to provide these will result in a drop in approval ratings which will lead to your eventual ouster in the next elections

  • Ministers : The ministers who form your cabinet will also expect you to fulfill their demands, be it diverting additional budget towards their ministry or taking certain decisions for the events that occur throughout the game. Each decision represents a double-edged sword by which you can make them happy or incur their displeasure. Displease them enough and they will withdraw their support toppling your government for good

  • Dynamic World : Each playthrough will be a unique experience as the population demographics, key issues, occurrences of random events, etc. will be different

  • One Action per Turn : You are only allowed to take one action (building, policy decision, research & development budget tweaks, etc.) per turn which makes it crucial to prioritize between conflicting interests

  • Multiple Narratives : The choices you make on the scenarios presented in the game will lead to different sub-narratives, each with their own interactions, requirements and success conditions

  • Conflicting Priorities : You will be tasked with juggling multiple conflicting priorities which will force you to balance different factors like budget, relationships, public approval ratings, etc.

  • Multiple Influence Drivers : There are multiple ways to exercise your influence over all the stakeholders (general public, ministers, other country leaders') in the game ranging from building infrastructure and investing in R&D to taking the right policies and event decisions
