About the Game

You love dice. You love to brawl. Welcome Dice Brawl; choose from 17 unique Rollistas, modify their dice, and set foot on a journey to gamble your way to victory! Leave it to chance, or craft your own odds, the choice is yours in this customizable dice crawler. With 4 dice tiers, 6 die faces, 5 actions per face, and a list of modifiers, there are hundreds of possibilities to choose from in crafting your perfect rolls. With roguelite elements giving you the opportunity to progress between game runs and temporary bonuses to max out your outcomes, you will progress through the game to defeat the Overlords and claim victory!

Rollista Archetypes:

Dealer - The Dealer represents the House, and the House always wins. Dealers' abilities deal damage, plain and simple. These Rollistas are going to be the heavy hitters, not built for a long time but built for a good time.

Guide - These Guides help you on your journey and utility is their middle name. Guides' abilities help in the more unconventional way, rather than relying on brute force.

Anchor - The Anchor. Strong, sturdy, and steadfast, these Rollistas want to ensure that you survive through the journey. They exist to take hits and protect their team.

Gameplay:

A roster of 3 Rollistas are selected before starting the game. Choose your favorite Rollistas, and progress through the map. With a number of different map types, each enemy reflects the environment in which they live. Coins are earned through gameplay which are used solely within the run, and Shards of Fate are collected and collated at the end of the run into game persisting Stars of Destiny.

Customization:

Use your collected Stars of Destiny to unlock die faces, Rollistas, modifiers, and additional dice to customize for each Rollista. If you want a die full of double attacks stacked to the max with your favorite elemental modifier, the choice is entirely yours. If you want to play a safe, balanced approach with a mix of shield rolls and attack rolls, the choice is yours. The game is meant to be infinitely customizable to the player; call it Dealer's Choice.

Enemies:

With over one hundred hand drawn unique enemies, with their own dice and abilities, you will be consistently engaged. On enhanced difficulty levels, the enemies you know and love will have different resistances and dice assigned to them, so don't get too complacent!

Progression System:

With the Stars of Destiny allowing for unlocks, additional progression comes in the form of adjustable difficulty modifiers for each difficulty level. Start at 0, go on forever, with each subsequent modifier level increasing health pools, damage, and resistance. Difficulty tiers are Normal, Hard, and Insanity.
