Devil's Terminal is a Japanese Americana coming-of-age RPG about killing a demon at summer camp.
DEMON
Being a teenager feels like being possessed. There’s a demon that wants to keep you a loser. It wants you to suffer. It is the reason why teenagers write bad poetry. It is terrifying. Kill it, or die alone. ☺︎
DICE
RPGs should have dice. A way to check your skills against something. In Devil’s Terminal, you check against an evil Demon who is trying to control your life. Every choice needs to be wrestled from it. Wager your life or give up and let it run the show.
CLASSES
Figure out who you want to be. By the end of this summer, you’ll either become somebody, or stay a nobody. The demon will try to stop you from getting new skills. The computer will help. Find the computer.
COOL KIDS
You’re surrounded by rebels. This is a camp for troubled children, but everyone’s troubles are cooler than yours. Try to fit in with misfits. Try to go on a date with one. Try to make friends with another.
