Desktop Havoc

Desktop Havoc turns your real Windows desktop into a chaotic physics playground. Grab an arsenal of over-the-top weapons and blast your actual windows across the screen, then dive into Battle and Zombie modes. A cartoony sandbox shooter that wrecks your desktop, not your files.

About the Game

Your desktop is the battlefield.

Desktop Havoc is a chaotic physics sandbox that plays out on your actual Windows desktop. Pick up a ridiculous arsenal and send your real windows flying, shattering, and burning across the screen — then flip one toggle and put everything back. Destruction without the consequences.

Wreck your real desktop

Chaos mode runs live on your desktop. Your browser, your editor, your calculator — all fair game. Blast them, shove them, torch them. When you need to actually work, switch Chaos off and your windows stay put.

An absurd arsenal

Rockets that launch windows off-screen. Flamethrowers, railguns, scatter shots, freeze rays, paint guns and more. Aim in 2D, or drop into first-person view to place every shot exactly where you want it. Grapple and swing across your windows while you're at it.

Four ways to play:

  • 💥 Chaos — The sandbox. Rifle, scatter, grenades, rockets, a flamethrower, a freeze ray, a railgun, plasma, a grapple, and more. Shove your real windows around, crack the glass, leave scorch marks, and rack up a combo score. Opt-in — flip Chaos: Off and shots just wobble windows harmlessly.

  • ⚔️ Battle — 1v1 against an enemy that actually plays smart: it feints, edge-guards, adapts to your habits, and fights across four distinct personalities. Ring it out to win. Adjustable difficulty.

  • ☠️ Zombie — Wave survival. Hold off a closing horde of shamblers, runners, and brutes with your full arsenal and one health bar. How many waves can you last?

  • ❤️ Companion — The calm one. Your character lives on your desktop, trailing your cursor and climbing your open windows to reach it while you work. Grab and fling it whenever you like.

Make it yours

Unlock character skins and glowing motion trails as you play, and chase high scores and combos with persistent stats that track your best runs.
