About the Game

Deskpot is a miniature idle-farming simulator that accompanies you on your desktop! No infinite fields of crops. One potted plant at a time. Each time you press a key, a drop of water falls on your plant pot. You can place it wherever you like on your screen, and watch your plants grow as you click, type, and mash keys.

Grow and research plants

Unlock new plants as you progress through the game! If you harvest a plant enough times, you gain information about that plant in your Almanac. Each plant is different. Some take more watering to fully grow, but reward you with multiple drops or regrows.

Unlock cosmetics

Unlock different plant pots, faces and accessories through different requirements like 'amount of water drops created', 'amount of high quality plants harvested', 'amount of Almanac entries completed', and more! You can completely decide what your pot looks like. If you want a regular terracotta, faceless pot, you can even unequip the face.

Upgrade your knowledge

Deskpot has 60 different plants, spread out over five plant types:

  • Flowers

  • Vegetables

  • Fruit

  • Mushrooms

  • Foliage

Each plant type has its own upgrades you can buy on the 'Upgrades' tab. Some raise the base price of a plant type, others make a plant type grow faster, or raise the odds of a multi-harvest.

There is also base upgrades, that affect all plants, or the entire experience. You can upgrade your watering can, giving you more water drops per key press, and can even unlock a full hands-off idle mode!

Double your prices

Open the 'Market' tab to see what plants are hot. There's hourly and daily deals, and you can activate different temporary boosts. If you play the market and sell the right crop at the right time, you might exponentially multiply your sell price!
