About the Game

Welcome to the 1980s.
In Depth Perception, you play as a police officer stationed in a remote, rural part of the world. During what begins as a routine night shift, a radio call comes in; one of your fellow officers has gone missing. But when you begin your search, the investigation leads you somewhere you never expected.

Pay Attention to Your Surroundings

Exploration isn’t just encouraged; it’s essential. As a rural officer, your resources are limited. Ammunition and flashlight batteries are scarce, and poor management can leave you defenseless when you need them most. Think carefully. Conserve your gear. Play smart.

You have a gun at your side; but that doesn’t mean you’re safe. Weapons can jam. Flashlights can flicker out. In Depth Perception, realism matters. Just like in real life, your tools won’t always work when you need them the most.

No Jumpscares – Just Psychological Tension

This isn’t about cheap thrills. There are no jumpscares here. Instead, you'll uncover a slow-burning psychological thriller set in the atmospheric world of the 1980s, built around investigative storytelling and dread that lingers.

Minimal UI, Maximum Immersion

Lose yourself in a gritty, retro world inspired by noir thrillers and classic detective fiction. Darkness can be your ally, or your enemy. Your character has a fear of the dark, and that fear might distort how you see the world. Light offers safety, but your resources won’t always allow it. Adapt. Survive.

Uncover the Truth

Explore desolate streets, forgotten buildings, and the recesses of a deteriorating mind. Connect clues. Examine your surroundings. Face buried trauma and question what’s real as you descend deeper into the mystery of your missing colleague.

Every discovery might challenge your perception.

Will you find the missing officer, or lose yourself in the process?
