About the Game

Supported Languages: Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese
(Simplified Chinese support planned for August 2026)

“Determine the Truth of the Incident.”

Can you identify the culprit behind a supernatural murder using nothing but information from social media timelines—without ever leaving your room?

Humans with supernatural powers are known as “Demons”.
The bizarre incidents they cause are called “Paradoxes”.

Demons' Timeline is a mystery adventure game in which you investigate the truth behind these Paradoxes from the perspective of the Cyber Detective known as “L”.

Your partner, a Demon named Nyasuteria Hakouchi, assists your investigation with special abilities.

You will never visit a crime scene in the real world.
All clues exist online.

Using only information found on the internet, uncover the truth behind these strange and complex Paradoxes.

Investigation Gameplay

Players read through large amounts of information and solve deductions entirely through point-and-click interactions.

Each chapter features one or two timelines to investigate.

By analyzing witness statements, news posts, and social media messages, players complete multiple deduction tasks and gradually reveal the full picture behind each case.

Identifying the People Involved

Carefully read the information flowing through the timeline.

Deduce the owners of both public accounts and hidden alternate accounts, and connect them together.

Clues hidden within posts—such as age, gender, occupation, and relationships—help identify the people involved in the case.

Data Recovery & Post Citation

Recover deleted data by discovering the correct restoration passwords.

Progress through the investigation by correctly quoting posts that serve as evidence for your deductions.

Final Deduction

Use the hashtags obtained from the timeline to fill in the final deduction.

Complete the deduction and confirm the truth behind each case.

There are correct and incorrect answers during the investigation,
but there are no time limits and no game overs.

A hint system is available, allowing players to continue the story until the end.

Because of the large amount of information involved, the game offers a challenging detective experience that rewards careful reading, information filtering, and logical thinking.

Free Demo Available

A free demo is currently available, allowing you to play up to Chapter 1.

・Chapter 1 out of 7 total chapters

・Estimated playtime: 1–2 hours

・Save data can be carried over to the full version

Also, this game allows unrestricted live streaming and video uploads (including monetized ones) — no permission needed from us!
