About the Game

Everyone’s hunting, and everyone’s being hunted.

In Definitely Not NPC, every player pretends to be an NPC inside a small super market, some as workers and others as customers. You’ll have to blend in perfectly, complete tasks, and spot other players pretending to be NPCs, all without exposing yourself.

Players can take the role of shop workers who sweep, stock shelves, or handle customers. Others move through the aisles as shoppers who inspect items, queue at the register, or just browse. But everyone shares the same goal: act natural, finish your objectives, and don’t look human.

If you focus too much on spying, you’ll start to move strangely. If you rush toward your task, others will notice. Every action is a gamble, do you finish the mission or play it safe to protect your cover?
