About the Game

Congratulations, Inmate.

You have been selected for relocation to Deepscape Inc., a facility specializing in the permanent management of death row individuals. You were not meant to arrive here with questions.

You were simply meant to arrive.

You are not alone. Up to three other inmates have been processed alongside you, and you are advised to locate them. Not out of kindness. We have no interest in your comfort. It is procedure.

Here's the catch: the number you need to confirm is on your own back, where you can't see it. Only your fellow inmates can read it to you. And only you can read theirs.

So you will need to find one another, share your numbers, and guide each other to the correct rooms. Your co-detainees hold the key to your validation, and you hold theirs.

The facility does not reward individuals. It never has.

Upon arrival, each inmate is assigned a unique identification number and designated a validation room within the facility. You are expected to locate this room and confirm your number within it. This is not optional. This is procedure.

However, access to your validation room requires information you do not currently possess. That information is held by your fellow inmates. They, in turn, require yours.

You are therefore advised to locate them. Share what you know. Guide each other accordingly.

Deepscape Inc. does not provide maps. Deepscape Inc. does not provide escorts. Deepscape Inc. does not intervene.

The process is simple. The building is not.

The corridors may appear disorienting. This is intentional.

You will need to:

  • Find your way through a facility that does not want to be mapped.

  • Pay attention to what you hear. Certain sounds are not to be investigated.

  • Reach the escape room before something else reaches you.

Prisoners sent here are not expected to leave.

However, we acknowledge that some inmates, through cooperation, persistence, and an unhealthy level of curiosity, have attempted to do so.

We will not tell you it is impossible. We will simply state that no confirmed case of successful exit has ever been recorded. The outcome remains consistent.

Note : Some inmates report hearing familiar voices. This is not to be trusted.
