About the Game

An Otter tasked with saving the land by guiding animals to a healing tree, and Aaron, a man struggling to love himself after an abusive relationship. Two parallel narratives exploring loneliness, hope and the mutual healing found in an unexpected connection.

"Dear, Lake" is a parallel narrative-driven game where you mainly play as an Otter and Aaron. Set in the vast lands of the healing tree, explore snowy terrain, and lush grassy plains, as you set out on a journey to find other animals and lead them towards peace. Along the way, you'll meet other animals like a bear, mole, and more unlocking the ability to play as them, utilizing their abilities to traverse the healing lands.

Features:

~Third-person narrative. Switch between the likes of a story centering around Animals trying to save their home and a man searching for his home.

~Play as different animas. "Dear, Lake" offers many playable animals, such as an Otter, Beetle, Mole, Bear, and more.

~Interconnected world. Traverse the lands of the healing tree, with interconnected areas leading to snowy mountains and grassy plains.

~Side Stories. As the Otter you can help the lives of many animals through side stories helping them through hardships.
