Welcome to Dead Metro
No one is coming to save you. You're the only one who has to survive.
You have been sent to an island overrun by the infected after a secret experiment went wrong, causing the TB23 virus to spread across the entire island.
You are one of the volunteers who risked your life by becoming a test subject in search of a cure for a disease that has almost no hope of being cured.
But as time passes, the virus continues to evolve. It has created monsters that never tire. Their behavior has become increasingly unpredictable, and you are their target.
Explore a fallen world, gather resources, form alliances, eliminate every threat that stands in your way, and survive for as long as possible.
Survival
Cooperate with other players or face them as enemies while trying to survive against the infected that are ready to kill you at any moment.
Search the island for materials and craft them into equipment, tools, weapons, and other essential supplies for survival.
Travel isn't limited to walking. Vehicles are the key to exploration, escape, and transporting resources.
Some objects inside buildings can be interacted with, such as turning lights on and off, or even filling water bottles from working faucets.
Combat
Firearms can be found across the island and are reliable when the situation turns desperate. However, ammunition is limited, so use it wisely.
Melee weapons remain an important choice when fighting infected at close range. Attack, dodge, and keep moving to survive when you are surrounded.
When you run out of ammunition, backup weapons such as throwing knives or shurikens can help keep you alive. You can also use explosives to gain the advantage before engaging in combat.
Tactics
Use everything around you to your advantage.
Old electrical traps can still be activated. Find the power cables connected to a generator and turn them on to turn the environment into a weapon.
Set traps to defend your base from infected or other players attempting to break in.
Play Style
Customize your character to match your playstyle.
Find clothing from shops, houses, or abandoned vehicles. Each outfit has different durability and protection, allowing you to choose what best suits your playstyle.
If you need better protection, you'll need to find and equip armor that fits the situation.
Exchange
Eliminate infected to earn bounty points, then exchange them for money at the Safe Zone.
But if you die before cashing them in, every bounty point you've collected will be lost.
Even though the island has been overrun by the infected, money remains the primary currency for trade.
Build
Build your own shelter or base, or work together with new allies to expand and reinforce it.
Strengthen your defenses, set traps, and prepare for attacks from both the infected and other players.
