About the Game

Daybreak Slam brings non-stop, intense fighting action that's super easy to jump into. If you're new to fighting games, you'll feel right at home thanks to innovative, simple combat and straightforward controls. Plus, the game has a vibrant and diverse cast of characters, each with their own unique style, which genre veterans will definitely dig.

6 Game Modes: Arcade / Versus / Tutorial / Training / Survival / Online Multiplayer with Quick or Ranked Match using GGPO Rollback Netcode.

This game is all about the awesome Dual Gauge System:

  • Heat Gauge: Think of this as your active power source. You charge it up by attacking or just powering up, and then you spend it on your flashiest, most powerful moves.

  • Static Gauge: This one's the steady backup. It fills up automatically over time, and you can hold a maximum of two stocks.

Time to Attack!:

  • Keep the pressure high with Chain and Auto Combos—they're great for knockdowns or keeping the combo going if you use a resource cancel.

  • Your standard damage comes from your Light and Medium Specials.

  • EX Attacks are beefed-up versions of your Specials, but they'll tap into your Heat Gauge.

Playing Defense:

  • Heads up! Your defensive options—Guard Cancel Attack, Volt Crush, and Spark Release—will all burn a Static Gauge stock. Use them smartly!

Last Stand (The "I'm About to Lose But Wait" Mechanic):

  • When your health bar runs out, don't panic! You get two high-stakes, game-changing moves:

    • Last Ember: A one-shot, Super-Cinematic Super Attack.

Enter the Zone: This move slows your opponent while can still move at maximum speed. Time to flip the script!

Daybreak Slam has this super cool, original vibe and a fantastic lineup of 8 completely unique characters. You can grab different skins and tons of color options for them as you play through the game.

Check out Nakatomi City and all its cool spots! You can seriously boost your experience by unlocking daytime and weather variations for the outside levels. Plus, you can totally customize the look with two awesome art filters: Pixelart and Polydrive Style—that second one is a neat throwback to those first 3D games ever released.

Your personal hangout for grabbing all the cool stuff the game has to offer. You can check out and snag tons of collectibles, like different Character Skins and Recolors, alternate Stage Variations, Trophies, and a Music Jukebox. Plus, we've got some fun Mini Games that are great for casual players and new folks to really get into the world of Daybreak Slam.
