THE STORY
The megacity runs on data the way it once ran on oil — and whoever controls it controls everything. You're a courier. Not a hacker, not a spy: just someone who carries information by hand, because every network here has long since been compromised.
This delivery was supposed to be routine. It wasn't.
The cargo you're carrying turns out to be something else entirely — and within the hour, both the corporation and your own client are hunting you down. There's nowhere to hide but the underground, a place usually closed to outsiders. You're taken in by the leader of one of the lower-level factions — a man with no obvious reason to risk his people for a courier he's never met.
The longer you stay close to him, the clearer it becomes: he has a reason. It's tied to the cargo itself — and possibly to what the corporation has been doing to this city for years.
