About the Game

DarkSpase – 2222: The Solar System is Under Siege.

The Dregg have arrived. Extrasolar horrors with biomechanical wings and plasma eyes, they warp in from beyond Neptune, hungry for conquest.

The Defenders of Earth—once FTL racers pushing Keplerian limits—now scramble to defend humanity’s cradle. You are the Privateer, a legendary founder of the DoE. You walked away for a life. Now the system burns.

Suit up. Strap in. Prove you still deserve the legend.

  • Real-Time Keplerian Simulation: NASA/JPL accurate orbits. Mercury streaks. Jupiter looms. Distances matter.

  • FTL Travel: Hands-on interactive warping between planets. Visit Mars in four minutes at 5 c.

  • PvE Starfighter Combat: Outmaneuver Dregg swarms at 150 m/s. Ride Newtonian physics on the limits with 6-degrees-of-freedom.

  • Dynamic Encounters: 18v18 battles at Mars. 1v1 Aces at Pluto. Your wingmen are the Defenders of Earth.

  • Full Customization: Change your loadout any time. Weapons, hull and shields are fully configurable.

  • Unlimited Ammo: Your starfighter's PPM (Passive Perpetual Motion) device just needs time to recharge.

  • Tons of Loot: Upgrades are your spoils of war. Shield-buster EMPs harvested from vanquished enemies are the literal bomb.

  • Anime Inspiration: Lock on to entire flight groups and release volleys of seeking missiles. <unnamed-giant-robot-anime>-style carnage incarnate!

  • Single Indie Developer: I am just one guy who made the game I've wanted to play since the '90s. Yeah, I'm using AI-generated models, music and voices (planet textures are courtesy of NASA). I'm a programmer, not an artist or audio-engineer. Hey, I directed the prompts to get what I wanted 😉 And I did write the sun shader!

No paywalls. No grind. Pure skill. Pure space.

Defend Sol. Or lose it forever.
