Darkened

Darkened is a 2D dark fantasy dungeon crawler RPG with turn-based combat.

Gameplay

Each run sends you into a dungeon to clear floors, fight enemy groups, complete objectives, collect loot, and make it back to town. Quests usually ask you to kill a target, defeat a boss, recover an item, or reach the next floor and return.

The Town works as your base between runs. This is where you heal, rest, manage gear, reset skills, store items, and prepare your character for the next dungeon.

Combat and Progression

Combat is turn-based: you take a turn, the enemy takes a turn, and the fight continues on one turn at a time. Classes have their own talents and buffs, and general talents give you more ways to shape a build.

Progression comes in the form of loot, gear tiers, skills, and class choice. Over time, you'll be able to specialize your build, leaning more toward damage, defense, or utility depending on what you find and how you want to play.

Darkened is built around dungeon runs, town preparation, turn-based fights, and character progression in a grim dark fantasy setting.
