About the Game

Dark Workshop Simulator is a first-person dark-fantasy shop sim.

Step behind the counter of your own emporium, where adventurers, alchemists, and creatures of uncertain allegiance come to spend their gold. You set the prices, stock the shelves, and manage the chaos - whether anyone leaves satisfied is largely up to you.

Run the Shop

Order from a network of shadowy suppliers, fill your shelves before the doors open, and serve a clientele that ranges from desperate to dangerous. Set your own prices, manage your stock, and keep the shop running when demand shifts under your feet.

Your Shop, Your Rules

Open the doors when you're ready, close them when you've had enough. Nobody tells you what to sell, what to charge, or how to run your business. Stock healing potions during a plague or hoard weapons before a war. Refuse a customer, ignore a supplier, or push your prices to the edge of what the market will bear. The shop answers to you and no one else.

A Market That Never Sits Still

The world outside your door does not cooperate. Plagues spike demand for medicine, war bands drain your weapon stock, and witch-hunter edicts turn your potions into liabilities overnight. Order wisely during the rumor phase, stockpile ahead, and adapt when things go sideways.

Grow Your Workshop

Your shop starts small, but locked chambers wait behind every door - a cave of ingredients, a fog-shrouded swamp, a graveyard with its own supply line, a forge for weapons, and an alchemy lab for potions. Unlock rooms, place shelves and furniture to boost your reputation, and hire zombie employees to cover the work you can't.

Guests You Did Not Invite

Not every visitor comes through the door politely. Thieves slip items into their coats when you're not looking - confront them yourself or let your guard zombie handle it. Strange travelers show up between shop days with unusual requests, and the occasional bulk buyer can empty a whole shelf in one visit, for better or worse.

Serve enough customers and survive enough events, and your fame unlocks better suppliers, rarer recipes, and an ancient Grimoire's skill tree of permanent upgrades. The shop you end up with looks nothing like the one you started with.
