About the Game

Story

Imagine a world where the boundaries between reality and video games blur. In Daria, you play as a brilliant young girl in futuristic Morocco who discovers her late father’s invention - a device built to bridge realities. With it, she connects to the worlds of her favorite arcade games, leading to an unlikely friendship with a stranded astronaut from a notoriously difficult and broken game.

Gameplay

Daria is an adventure and puzzle-solving game where you collect fictional retro games, each rendered in pixel art. You can trade items and insights not just with Daria, but between the arcade games themselves, unlocking new paths through inventive cross-game interactions. Inspired by classics like Litil Divil and Duck Tales: A Quest for Gold, it features mini-games, a leveling system, and rich lore.

At the bottom of the screen lies The Chain - a dynamic, interactive map showing your current challenge and the next four. Icons mark puzzles, rewards, or mysterious “?” nodes that could hide traps. Do you take the risk and dive in, or play it safe? Solve puzzles quickly to trigger a Chain Rush, where the chain scrambles to keep up - piling on bigger rewards but forcing you to move blind.

Between challenges, return to your Home Base, where you can upgrade abilities, manage inventory, and prepare for what’s next.
