Step into the role of leader of one of the four great houses, each competing to capture the throne and thereby control the empire. Engage in thrilling poker battles to conquer land and expand your influence.
These battles task the player with building powerful poker hands to deal damage to enemy forces. Triumph grants you control of the land and its valuable gold. Failure means the fall of your house.
After each victory, use your acquired gold to enhance your deck. Purchase cards that boost your damage potential, offer strategic advantages like extra moves per turn, or improve diplomatic success rates. Cards come in varying rarities, ensuring diverse builds with each playthrough. The type of land you conquer also affects available cards, adding another layer of strategic depth.
Diplomacy
In an empire aflame with war, diplomacy and statecraft can be vital keys to ultimate victory. Extend the olive branch of peace to escape the aggression of opposing Houses, sound the drums of war to escalate tensions, or simply sidestep the brutality of conflict through bribery and deceit.
Diplomatic negotiations offer a window into the relationships of the four great houses and their leaders through hundreds of lines of unique dialogue, as alliances are forged and shattered.
