About the Game

Years after its shutdown, a beloved early-2000s online world flickers back to life.

The servers shouldn’t be running. The players are long gone.

And yet… something is still here.

Cyber Buglets is a single-player point-and-click deduction puzzler set inside an abandoned virtual pets MMO. Log back into a world frozen in its final moments and learn what happens to happy memories left to decay.

Explore forgotten spaces, sift through old chat logs, and follow trails of strange activity left behind by whoever - or whatever - rebooted the servers. Discover cracks in the system and slip out-of-bounds using uncovered account IDs and admin tools to progress deeper and learn the fate of the original game.

But the deeper you go, the less this feels like a simple glitch in the software.

Something is trying to relive the past.

And it doesn’t want to be erased.
