About the Game

Cursed Maze is a first-person horror game in which ordinary traveler David finds himself locked inside a strange maze at night. Hiding from a strange creature, he need to figure out how to get out without losing his head.

The only thing known about this cursed place is the unfinished task list of the gardener, whose marble statue is holding something in his hand, this and the lined map above his desk are all he have to figure out how to get out of the maze.

Gameplay and content

The player needs to sequentially perform a number of key actions from the gardener's list: collect roses, water the plants and trim the bushes. Points for performing key actions are located in different parts of the maze. To avoid getting lost, the player needs to use a gardener's map with marks and routes. Generator cables are laid throughout the maze, they help in finding points and returning if the player gets lost.

In the current build, the player will encounter one monster in the labyrinth, one ending available and zero secrets. Their number will increase in future updates.

At first, the monster moves along a looped route, but after performing one of the key actions, the route becomes random. The monster begins to chase the player if it hears him close, or if a player from afar gets into his cone of vision. The monster's field of view is visible from the light from its visor. Player can break away from pursuit by breaking the distance.

Having caught the player, the monster instantly kills him, so the player better watch his stamina.
