Cubalance: Physics-Driven Match-3 Chaos

What happens when you take a classic match-3 puzzler and add some seesaws and the laws of gravity? 
You get Cubalance!

In this game, color matching is only half the battle. Every cube has a physical weight, and they all land on a set of shifting scales. Your goal is to clear colors while balancing the board, and using physics to your advantage.

One wrong (or right) move and your cubes will go flying!

The "Heavy" Mechanics

Forget static grids. In Cubalance, the board and its cubes are alive.

  • Balance the Scales: Every cube you drop affects the equilibrium. Keep the scales level to stay in control, or tip them on purpose to change the game.

  • Tactical Catapulting: Use weight-shifting chain reactions to launch cubes across the play area. It’s like a see-saw, but with more explosions and fewer playground injuries.

  • Momentum Management: It’s not just about where the cube lands, but how heavy it is. Use heavy cubes to clear paths or light cubes to fine-tune your balance.

  • Special Cubes and endless colors: Advance in level and unlock special cubes to clear the game area. The are unlimited combinations, as further colors appear in higher in higher levels!

Modes of Play

Whether you’re looking for a zen-like flow or a friendship-ending rivalry, we’ve got a mode for you:

  • Adventure Mode: Think outside the box. Solve handcrafted physics puzzles by navigating the "Adventurer Cube" toward the exit using clever weight distribution.

  • Solo Highscore Chase: The ultimate test of endurance. How high can you score? Climb the ranks on different leaderboards!

  • Local PvP Chaos: Challenge a friend in a shared-screen battle. Victory is sweet, but sabotaging your opponent's weight balance at the last second is even sweeter.

  • Level Editor: Create your own physics-defying challenges with built-in tools. If you can dream it, you can make the most complex chain reaction the world has ever seen.

  • Custom Levels: Share your own levels or play custom ones via Steam Workshop!
